So I started to fix the roof up. A few sheets of thin wooden shingles came with the dollhouse-kit. They were round at the edge, but I cut them even, looks better that way to me.
Vaihekuvia minulla on huonosti, piti työskennellä nopeasti, ja ehtiä liimaamaan ja teippaamaan paanut ennenkuin alkoivat käpristyä. Kiinnitin siis kaikki laatat yksi kerrallaan.
I don't have plenty of pictures about this craft, I had to work really fast to glue and tape the shingles up before they start to curl up. I attached all the shingles one by one.
Olen kuitenkin tyytyväinen lopputulokseen, katto näyttää elävältä, ja on ihanan epäsymmetrinen, kuin aikaa nähnyt, vanha kattopäällyste:
Still I'm quite satisfied with the result. The roof looks more realistic, and it's wonderfully asymmetrical, like a worn out, old shingles:
