Lupescun tulevaan kylpyhuoneeseen valmistui pieni allaskaappi.

I made a little sink cabinet for the soon-to-be bathroom of the Lupescu family.

Kaappi itsessään on alunperin puuvalmis kalustelöytö, jonka maalasin itse. Kaapin voi bongata myös Lupescun vanhasta kylpyhuoneesta:

This cabinet itself was wood-coloured furniture-piece, which I painted myself. You can spot the cabinet from the old Lupescu bathroom as well:

Liimasin vain pohjaan poistoputken, jonka tein helmistä, ja pälle ylimääräisen altaan yhdestä Monster High -askartelustani. Hana on lähtöisin Minimaailma-nettikaupasta.

I just glued a drain-pipe (made of some beads), on the bottom there, and a left-over sink from one Monster High -crafting project of mine. The tap is originally from the Minimaailma-webstore.

Tuo lavuaarintulppa on itse asiassa rikkonaisen haaraniitin pää..

That plug is actually a top-part of one broken brad..

Kirjahylly - A Bookshelf

Aikaisemmin esittelemäni kirjahylly valmistui vihdoin, ja kaikki Lupescun perheelle näpertelemäni kirjat löysivät paikan itselleen.

The bookshelf I mentioned earlier was finally finished, and all the books I made for the Lupescu Family also found their place.

Looks kinda dignified in it's own way. This bookshelf will end up to a Red Hall.

There's still a lot of room for new books in there, in case I one day start making them again.

Takka - The Fireplace

Väliaskarteluna uusi Lupescun Talo sai tietenkin vihdoin viimein tulisijan:

As a side-craft, the new Lupescu House finally got a fireplace:

Takka oli alkujaan kokonaan punaisen mahongin (tiedättehän sen perus nukkiskalustesävyn) värinen, mutta annoin sille hieman ilmettä kultamaalilla ja marmoriprintillä. Enkä tietenkään hoksannut kuvata takkaa ennen tuunausta..

This fireplace was originally all red-mahogany (the common dollhouse-furniture shade, you know,) colored, but I perked it up a notch with some gold-paint ant a marble-print. And of course I forgot to photograph it before I re-painted it..

Tuon takkaritilän, vai mikälie (kipinäsuoja?), tein eräästä Monster High -huonekalutuunauksesta ylijääneistä osista. Puut puuttuvat vielä, mutta laitan ne vasta kun saadaan valot asennettua tuonne.. 

That mantle-grate, or what ever it is (fireguard?), I made of left-over parts from a Monster High furniture tune-up. No firewood yet, but I'll stack 'em up when we get the lights put to places..

Takan yläosaan liimasin keittiöaskartelusta ylijääneen palan kartonkia.
Helmistä kasattu purnukka on vain kuvausrekvisiittaa. Mutta hetkinen..

On the above the mantle I glued a piece left from the kitchen-craft earlier.
That little jar made of beads is just a photo-prop. But what's this..

Heh heh, olen ihan höyrähtänyt kaikenlaisiin salalokeroihin, joten en vain voinut vastustaa kiusausta ;)

Kheh-heh, I'm a total kook when it comes to hidden-lockers or secret-doors, so I just couldn't resist ;)

Jepus. Etuseinä on irtonainen, ja sen takaa löytyy oikea, pieni salalokero. Kiitos pikku, öh, mattovetsimokan, siinä on jopa omat niksinsä;  tuota siivekettä täytyy vähän painaa alaspäin jotta luukku aukeaisi ;)
Nyt perheellä on (taas yksi) paikka lisää jossa säilyttää arvoesineitään (tai salaisuuksia)..

Yep. The front-side has a little slide shutter that opens up, and there is a real compartment-space behind. Because of a little, em, utility-knife flaw, there even is a trick to it; You have to press the ledge down a bit to open it ;)
Now the family has (one more) place to keep their valuables (or secrets) safe..

Ulkokalusteita -Yard furniture

Väliaskarteluna tuunasin vanhat patiokalusteet näyttämään, no; Patiomaisemmilta.

As a side-craft I tuned the old patio-furniture to look more, well; Patio-like.

Alkuperäinen väri on siis tämä valkoinen. Kalusteet on ostettu yksitellen, mutta sopivat yhteen settinä. Moni varmaan muistaa nämä Lupescun pahvitalon patiolta:

Original coloring is that white-thing. I bought these separately, but they go together as a set. Some of you may remember these of the patio of the Lupescu cardboard-house:

But anyway, this is how they turned up:

Käytin samaa pienoismallimaalia ja tekniikkaa kuin kasvihuoneen rungossa, eli tupsuttelin pinnat sienellä. Näyttää kivalta :)

I used the same scale-model paint and technique here as I did during the greenhouse, I just patted the surfaces with sponge. Looks nice :)

He's like so thin!

More odd crafting ;)

Jennyferiä ajatellen tein tällaisen näyteluurangon. Luuranko on alunperin pimeässä hohtava jääkaappimagneetti/kynä Tiimarista. uudelleenmaalasin hahmon, poistin magneetin selästä ja vääntelin rautalangasta kehikon:

I made this skeleton-specimen for Jennyfer. Skeleton is originally a glow-in-the-dark fridge-magnet/pen from the late Tiimari-shop. I re-painted the figurine, removed the magnet off it's back and made a frame of iron wire:

Jalustan vaihdan kunhan löydän sopivamman. Puupala on vähän turhan köykäinen, ja hahmo huojuu.

I'll change the stand after I'll find one more suitable. That piece of wood is too light and the figurine keeps wobbling.

I painted the tears of blood with common nail polish. Cute :)
